Savannah Police HEAT Unit

Hey…ever go Bay Street/Hwy 80 West in the afternoons, say 5′sh? Watch out for HEAT units. We were pulled over today for going a few miles over the speed limit and in the ten minutes we sat there having a warning written out, at least six other people were ticketed. They get you coming right off the Talmadge Bridge viaduct. By the time you crest that hill, your butt belongs to HEAT.

My husband’s a police officer and he was a little pissed at the rude behavior of one of their officers, but they’re out there doing their job and dong something I’m pretty sure they probably didn’t want to be doing at that time of the day. I’m sure the bad mood stemmed from an attitude or two.

So consider this a warning. I’m just trying to save you a ticket.
